M is for… Mortified (you feel very, very embarrassed)

Shaper and Shell and the Twin were playing soccer outside.

“Be careful where you kick that ball,” said Papi, while shaking his finger at the children. “I don’t want any broken windows when I come home. If anything gets broken, you’ll have to pay for it yourselves!” Papi said sternly while shaking his finger even harder.

“Not a problem, Papi,” shouted Shaper. “We’ll be careful, and anyway, we’re kicking the ball away from the house.” The children carried on kicking the ball to each other and Papi rode off down the road on his bicycle.

A little while later, the children decided to see how high they could kick the ball, trying to kick it over the tree in the yard. Continue Reading »

M is for… Mad (very, very, very angry)

Gogs and Bumper were looking after Shell, Shaper,Splotch and Mub. The Freaky children were watching a TV programme while Gogs was in the kitchen cooking supper. Bumper was helping Gogs by peeling the potatoes for the stew. Suddenly they both heard a loud yell.

“Stop that, Shaper!” shouted Shell. “I hate it when you keep nudging me.”

“What am I doing?” shouted Shaper. “You’re the one who keeps the remote and changes the channels all the time,” shouted Shaper. “It’s not fair!” Continue Reading »
